Jordan, owner of Beautyberry Designs

Rooted in the garden. Designed for real life.

I'm Jordan, an award-winning Chicagoland landscape designer. I grew up in my dad's garden in North Georgia, learning hands-on how to work with nature and appreciate what it can bring to everyday life.

That early curiosity led me to study horticulture and horticultural therapy in college. I've worked at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Chicago Botanic Garden. My experience has ranged from leading garden tours and evaluating plants in trials to creating fresh floral designs for weddings and events.

I've designed everything from quaint Chicago front yards and cool roof decks overlooking the city to $1M suburban outdoor living spaces decked out with everything you can imagine. At every scale, I bring a thoughtful planting layout to the final design, creating color, texture and interest throughout the year.

Today, I especially love creating spaces where clients can spend more time outside with friends and family. Shade coverings, heaters, outdoor kitchens and fire features can make an outdoor space welcoming well beyond summer.

Serving Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, from compact city spaces to expansive residential properties.
